Kerala Library Association (KLA) Kozhikode Regional Committee in association with the Department of Library and Information Science and C.H. Mohammed Koya Library, University of Calicut has given a reception to Prof. Ulloor M. Parameswaran, the winner of the Kendra Sahithya Academy Award for the best Tamil-Malayalam translation on March 21, 2014. He was the former Professor and Head, Department of Library and Information Science, University of Calicut. He got the award for his translation ‘Thiruvachanam’. The function was held at the Seminar Hall of the Department of Library and Information Science, University of Calicut and presided by Dr. Abdul Azeez T.A., University Librarian-in-Charge. Prof. Parameswaran was adorned with ‘Ponnada’ and memento presented by Prof. K. Raveendranadh, Pro Vice Chancellor of the Calicut University. Dr. Jalaja V., Dr. Vinod V.M., Dr. Vasudevan T.M., Dr. Mohamed Musthafa K., Mr. P.L. Sreedharan and Mr. P.K. Sasi felicitated the meeting.
