Kerala Library Association, Kottayam Region in association with K.G. College, Pampady going to organise a workshop on Mendeley on 30 July 2016.
SCOPE
The following topics will cover in the workshop::
- Installation of Mendeley desktop client and web importer
- Building Mendeley Library
- In-Text Citation and reference preparation in MS-Word/Libre Office
- Bibliography generation from Mendeley
- PDF document management
- Connection and collaboration with peers
- Backup and sync with cloud storage
- Importing and exporting references
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
Faculty Members, Research scholars, M.Phil, PG students in all disciplines and Library professionals.
TEACHING MODE
Demonstration and hands on training. Those who have laptop please bring them and return with Mendeley installed.
VENUE: K.G. College, Pampady, Kottayam.
DATE AND TIME: 30 July 2016; 9.30 am to 1 pm and 1.30 pm to 4 pm (Two batches)
REGISTRATION: Registration fee is Rs.400.
