The libraries should be filled with more fiction books those spreads human values. This will clean the minds of people and lead them to create a civilized society, said Dr P.K.Rajasekharan, literary critic.He also urged librarians to become more accessible and friendly. He was speaking on the topic, “Reading: Madness and Culture“, at a function organized by the Kerala Library Association in connection with the Reading Day in the DLIS Hall, University Library Buildings, Thiruvananthapuram.
More than eighty people from different walks of life attended the programme. Dr A.Gopikuttan, Vice President, KLA presided over the function and S.L.Faisal, General secretary, KLA delivered the vote of thanks.
