Dr M. D. Baby, HoD, School of Library and Information Science, Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, delivered the 8th Prof. K. A. Isaac Commemoration Lecture, on “New Generation Knowledge Management: A Challenge to Library Professionals” at the Department of Library and Information Science, University of Kerala, on 20 Dec. 2012. The function was presided over by Dr K. P. Vijayakumar, HoD, DLIS, while Dr A. Gopikuttan, President, KLA welcomed the gathering. N. Parameswaran, former Deputy Librarian-in-charge, University Library, reminisced about his association with Prof. K.A. Isaac, the first Kerala University Librarian. S. L. Faisal, General Secretary, KLA, offered vote of thanks.
The lecture was jointly organized by Kerala Library Association and the Department of Library and Information Science, University of Kerala.
