Objectives of the Workshop
Even though the importance of quality in research might seem obvious, it is found that quality and methodological rigor are often lacking in most of the research reports. Evaluating quality of scientific research is still a challenging issue and it points at some basic training or inputs for the researchers in enhancing the quality of research and also in its communication. The quality of research depends on the appropriateness of the research technique adopted and the way in which the adopted technique is applied. Those research reports which adhere to the quality parameters only will withstand the test of scrutiny by reviewers. Many parameters like various indices, impact factor are there in the industry to access the quality of output.
The workshop will focus on various attributes for ensuring quality of scientific research, which includes the standards for quality research, the strategies for reporting quality research etc.
