Two day National Workshop on Content Management System using Joomla, 5th – 6th August 2016

Kerala Library Association, Ernakulam Region in association with Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies, Ernakulam is organizing Two day National Workshop on Content Management System using Joomla during 5th-6th August 2016.

The venue of the workshop is Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS), Panangad P.O., Kochi, Kerala, India, Pin 682 506.

Objective(s) of the workshop:

The main objective of the workshop is to equip the participants to develop a website of their own and for their institutions. The workshop will help the participants to explore Content Management Systems and to build a stable and scalable CMS.

Who should participate?
———————–
The workshop is primarily intended for Library and Information Science professionals, researchers and computer graduates. College students seeking future in Web Technologies can also attend the workshop.
This is a basic level workshop, so there are no prerequisites. Anyone interested, can join this workshop. A basic knowledge of HTML and simple database concepts would be helpful.

Registration fees : Rs 1000/- (for KLA members & for staff and students of KUFOS)
: Rs 1250/- (for others)
: Rs 2000/- (for sponsored candidates).

Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of Kerala Library Association Ernakulam Region payable at Ernakulam.

Registration is limited to 40 participants on first come first served basis. The participants will be provided with working lunch, refreshments etc.

Participants will have to make arrangements for their own accommodation. However assistance will be provided if required.
