Kerala Library Association organized the 14th Prof. K. A. Isaac Commemoration Lecture on 25th November 2019, 2.30 pm at the Department of Library and Information Science (DLIS) Hall, Kerala University Library Buildings, Thiruvananthapuram.
Dr. V. Gopakumar, University Librarian, Goa University delivered the lecture on the topic “Research Data Management”.
On this occasion Prof. C.A. Augustine, Former Professor, DLIS, University of Kerala honoured the retirees and Ph.D Awardees among KLA members. Smt. A. V. Rahelamma, Former University Librarian-in-charge, Kerala University shared reminiscences about Prof.K.A Isaac and Dr. B. Minidevi, Head, DLIS , University of Kerala made the felicitation speech. Dr.Vijayakumar,K. P. , President, KLA, presided over the function. Dr. M. Lalitha, Vice-President, KLA welcomed the gathering and Dr P. K. Suresh Kumar, General Secretary, KLA,proposed vote of thanks.
Prof. K. A. Isaac’s wife, Mrs.Chechamma Isaac and son Prof.Kurien Isaac were present on the occasion. More than 100 LIS professionals across the State including Prof. M. Varghese, Prof. A. Gopikuttan, Shri. K.P Sadasivan, Shri. N. Parameswaran, Dr. T Ajikuamri attended the function.
