Women Librarians’ Meet 2014

Kerala Library Association is organizing a ‘Women Librarians’ Meet‘ on the International Women’s Day on 8th March 2014 from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm at Prof. N. Krishna Pillai Foundation Hall, Nandavanam, Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram.

Inspiring Change is the 2014 theme for International Women’s Day, encourages advocacy for women’s advancement everywhere in every way. It calls for challenging the status quo for women’s equality and vigilance inspiring positive change.

The event is conceived as an informal get together with an aim to know each other and share ideas.

The Meet will be inaugurated by famous writer Ms A. Khyrunnisa. Dr. A. Gopikuttan, President, Kerala Library Association will chair the inaugural session.

Senior Women Library Professionals will be honoured at the function.

Release of the New Librarian Logo: The new Librarian Logo designed by Kerala Library Association will also be released at the Meet.
