The Kerala Library Association (KLA) Thrissur Region has organized a Seminar on “Public Relations in Libraries” on 15-12-2012 at the Govt. Institute of Advanced Study in Education (IASE), Thrissur. The Seminar was inaugurated by Dr. B. Suresh, Principal, Govt. IASE, Thrissur in a function presided over by Dr. A.T. Francis, President KLA Thrissur Region. Sri. P. Humayoon Kabir, Chief Librarian, Govt. Medical College, Thrissur presented theme paper on “Public Relations in Libraries”.

Sri. K.D. Anto, Prajothi Nikethan College, Pudukad, Sri. K. Rejendran, Kerala Sahitya Academy, V.S. Swapna, Kerala Agricultural University, Vellanikkara, Sri. K.R. Nagarajan, Govt. Engineering College, Thrissur, Sri. Shajihan, Govt. Law College, Thrissur, Smt. V.B. Hena, Govt. KKTM College, Kodungallur and Smt. P.R. Jayasree, Ayurveda College, Ollur spoke on the occasion.

Sri. Sunny Joseph, Librarian, Govt. IASE, Thrissur welcomed the gathering and Smt. N. Vijayalakshmi, Librarian, Govt. Nursing College, Thrissur proposed vote of thanks.

Smt. A.R. Reshma, Mahmoodiyya English School, Perinjanam, E. Sreevidhya, Elijah Institute of Management Studies, Thrissur and Smt. K.A. Fincy, College of Horticulture were the Raporteurs of the seminar.
